Venue Rental Agreement | Terms and Conditions

  1. Usage Terms:
  • Maximum capacity of the venue is 60. Exceeding this limit is prohibited.
  • Renter must comply with all local laws, ordinances, and safety regulations.

2. Insurance and Liability:
  • Renter must provide proof of liability insurance at third party locations.
  • Renter assumes full responsibility for any damages to the venue, equipment, or furnishings caused during the rental period.
  • The Owner is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property during the event.

3. Alcohol and Catering Policies:
  • Alcohol may only be served in compliance with local laws.
  • Renter must use approved caterers or seek prior approval for external vendors.

4. Setup, Decorations, and Cleanup:
  • Setup and teardown must occur within the rental period.
  • Decorations must not damage the venue (e.g., no nails, tape, or adhesives on walls).
  • The renter is responsible for removing all decorations and leaving the venue in its original condition.
  • A cleaning fee of CHF 350,- will be charged if the venue is not properly cleaned.

5. Noise Restrictions:
  • All loud music and activities must end by 22:00 in compliance with local noise ordinances.

6. Conduct and Prohibited Activities:
  • Smoking and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • The use of fireworks, open flames, or other hazardous materials is not allowed.
  • Renter is responsible for ensuring that guests behave appropriately.

7. Force Majeure:
  • The Owner is not responsible for cancellation due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or government restrictions.
  • In such cases, the Renter may reschedule the event without additional fees, subject to availability.

8. Cancellation and Termination:
  • Cancellations made before the event are eligible for a refund of 50% of the total rental fee.
  • The Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Renter violates any terms herein.
